It’s that time of year again where we can prepare for the Holidays! We’re excited to present some wonderful holiday gift options this year. Whether it’s a gift for your sister, brother, mother, father, uncle cousin or cat, AJA has you covered…okay well maybe not your cat!
We have fabulous new recycled candles created from actual AJA bottles. We keep up our sustainability efforts and give back to the earth that produces such wonderful fruit for us. These candles are made right here in Los Angeles by another small business and it always excites us to work with other fabulous local companies.
You can choose from Syrah which is a vanilla scented candle or our Sauvignon Blanc, which is a Persimmon and Citron scented candle. Both were selected to mimic different elements of each wine. With the beautiful zesty and citrusy notes from the Persimmon Citron it was an obvious choice for our Sauvignon Blanc candles. We chose vanilla for the oak barrels that the Syrah sits in for 18 months before going to the bottle. Though these barrels are often neutral, you can still feel the kiss of vanilla brush the tip of your nose when you smell this wine. These candles are made from 100% Soy and Coconut wax.
Next we have our latest release wines; our 2019 Miracle Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2021 Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc.
Our Sauvignon Blanc has been FLYING off the shelves and we’re so fortunate to be able to provide a delicious wine at such an affordable price of $25 per bottle. An easy addition to any holiday basket, holiday party line-up or dinner table. This wine has the perfect amount of brightness and zestiness. It’s clean, crisp and oh so refreshing!
Our 2019 has been BLOWING people away! This wine is so unique and unlike anything we’ve produced before. A true Cabernet Sauvignon that tastes like the Malibu Coast; soft yet emboldened, supple and scrumptious but not overbearing. It has so many wonderful complexities and showcases the rich history of the soil. As you swirl it in your glass, it continues to amaze, impress and express!
We’ve only got a few cases left of some fan favorites including our 2021 Sauvignon Blanc from Eds’ Vineyard, our 2021 Wildflower Rose, and the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon! So grab them while you can! They make the perfect Holiday trio!
Finally, harvest is done and the wines are finishing up malolactic fermentation which is imperative to give our red wines those silky textures. Our team tasted through the wines on Tuesday to check how they’re moving along. We get a little bit of a break here, but we’re happy to share that they are moving along exactly as planned. We’ve schedule blending sessions for late January/Early February and our bottling will hopefully happen shortly after. We have some new wines coming out this year and I’m so excited to share them with you. So stay tuned as we bring forth much more.
