This summer cocktail requires more preparation than the Frosé, but the work will definitely pay off. You will need fruit, sugar or substitute, Rosé wine, Brandy, and mint for the garnish. This drink definitely deserves all the hype it has surrounding it and I would even venture to say it is the ultimate summer wine cocktail. The Aperol Spritz truly embodies that summer feeling with its bold orange coloring and sparkling appearance. This cocktail is made with a sparkling wine like Prosecco, Aperol, and soda water using a 3-2-1 ratio. Serve this crisp cocktail over ice and enjoy with your favorite summer meal.
If you are in a hurry or just need a drink in your hand as soon as possible, white wine spritzers are a great choice. These spritzes are made with just three ingredients- white wine, club soda, and a lime wedge for garnish.
If you have a bit more prep time and are looking for a way to spruce up this drink, look no further. This wine cocktail can be taken to the next level by blending watermelon and agave and adding the fruit mixture to the white wine spritzer.
